Ruth Montijo, CPA, MBA, CCIFP, Founder & Managing Principle

With over 25 years of industry experience, Ruth has developed a passion for streamlining and automating processes as well as training individuals for continued improvement and team growth.
Ruth specializes in the construction industry, providing her expertise in software solutions such as Sage 300 CRE and Sage Intacct. Her executive leadership expertise has included roles as Controller, CFO, and Director leading a Software practice within a large regional CPA firm.

Ruth is also a national speaker at the Annual Timberline Users Group Conference where she teaches accounting and financial solutions to Controllers and CFOs. ​RDM, CPA PLLC was established with the goal of transforming processes into automated and efficient workflows which allow for informed business decisions, reduced costs, and help in growing your business!

Sam Montijo leads our recruiting division, specializing in connecting companies with skilled professionals across accounting, finance, operations, project management, and executive leadership. With a strong background in recruiting and a deep understanding of the construction industry, he focuses on identifying top-tier talent and aligning organizations with candidates who bring both technical expertise and the right cultural fit.

Consulting Accounting Associate
Brandon Hunter
Brandon Hunter serves as a Consulting Accounting Associate with the RDM Consulting group. He works closely with Founder and Principal Ruth Montijo to deliver accounting and software support to construction clients.
Brandon holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and is currently a CPA candidate working toward completion of his CPA licensure.
Accounting & Recruiting Associate
Ron Davis
Ron Davis serves as an Accounting & Recruiting Associate, supporting both the consulting and recruiting divisions. He works closely with Principal Ruth Montijo and Recruiting Director Sam Montijo to support client service, internal operations, and recruiting efforts across the construction industry.
Ron holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting with a minor in Communication from The College at Brockport, SUNY, and brings experience in both accounting and finance recruiting.

Samantha Bernardy
Samantha Bernardy supports RDM Recruiting with a candidate-focused approach to professional placements in the construction industry. Working closely with Division Director Sam Montijo, she guides candidates through each stage of the recruiting process—helping them identify opportunities that align with their experience, goals, and values. Samantha is dedicated to building genuine relationships and creating a positive, transparent experience for every professional she assists.
Accounting Operations Coordinator
Marisol Roman
Marisol Roman provides essential administrative support across RDM’s internal operations. She helps coordinate communication, organize billing activities, and maintain the consistency that keeps the firm running smoothly. Her dependability and positive attitude make her a valued part of the RDM team.
